Teeth - 4 May 2007
Badger class had three visits from Mrs Hunter who came in and to talk to the children about teeth. The first session was spent looking not only at human teeth, but also at teeth in animal skulls to see the differences between humans and animals. The second session involved talking about 'sugar hits'. She explained to the children when the best time was to eat sweet foods and so look after their teeth. The third session the children found hugely entertaining and surprising. They had to suck a disclosing tablet which showed the plaque on their teeth and then Mrs Hunter explained to them how to brush their teeth properly. |
Eva ready with her disclosing tablet. | How do my teeth look? | Only a bit of plaque for Connor. | Blue tongues! |
"This is how we brush our teeth." | Scott and Georgia have got the hang of it. | Scott having one last check. | What lovely white teeth. |
