Puppet Day - 17 November 2007

The show begins.....a tale of Blackbeard and the hunt for his treasure.

Chloe and Joe have a go at using the puppets. It's much harder than it looks!

Peter shows the children the naughty shark from the play and how easy it is to operate.

Using a garden cane, a folded napkin, some card and glue the most fantastic puppet can be made. It is wonderfully easy to create any character and add accessoires where necessary.

Sketches are drawn once the character is decided on. Then the drawing is transfered to card, coloured in and stuck on the stick puppet.
