Official opening of the new school library.

On Thursday 12 July Mr James Buckle came to Elmsett to officially open the new school library.  All the books are now logged onto the new computerised system (thanks to Mrs Field for all her hard work).

As well as the library being opened, signed books by famous authors were auctioned and new books sponsored to raise funds for future new books.

This term the children had been learning some country dancing with Mrs Shackleton and Mrs Irwin.  Luckily the sun came out and this was the children's chance to shine!  KS1 and KS2 performed two dances each and then the parents were invited to dance.  By the end of the dancing everyone had worked up an appetite and fortunatly the PTA had organised a fabulous BBQ.

A great time was had by all!
