Today at Elmsett, Father Christmas paid us an early visit! It gave the children the chance to ask him the questions they've always wanted to ask. They wanted to know - What was his wife's name? Mary, of course.
- Where did he go on holiday? Usually somewhere hot.
- How many elves did he have working for him? So many he couldn't count.
- How old was he? As old as his tongue and a little older than his teeth!
- Did he have snowball fights? Of course.
- When was his birthday? On December 25th.
- How did he get down chimneys? He takes a special powder that makes him sneeze and whoosh...he is down the chimney!
- How did he fit all the presents on his sleigh? They magical fit in no matter how many he squeezes on to it.
- What time does he start delivering presents? At 9pm when children as asleep.
There were so many more questions, but not enough time for Father Christmas to answer them all! He had to get back to the North Pole to help the elves with the preparation of the presents. |
