14 Dec 2007 - Mr Marshall's Retirement
Sadly after 20 years of teaching at Elmsett School, Mr Marshall decided to retire. To honour this occassion, a farewell party was organised by various members of the PTA in the Elmsett Methodist Church. Teachers and pupils, past and present, attended as well as villagers and those who wanted to say a fond farewell.

Jenny Brace said a few words and Asley Seaborne presented Mr Marshall with a sculpture, a Book of Memories, a gift from the village and a gift from the PTA. The children, with the help of Mrs Robinson, made a video of themselves saying a few words to Mrs Marshall. Then it was over to Mr Marshall who firstly thanked his wife for her support over the years and then to all the people with whom he had the pleasure of working with.

Mr Marshalls last duty of the evening was to cut the fabulous cake that had been made for the occasion.

We wish Mr Mashall a restful retirement and he will be greatly missed by all.
