I'd like to say a REALLY big thankyou to all the children who have helped plant the seeds and repot the seedlings. We're going to have a super allottment and fingers crossed lots of plants to sell at the Summer Fair!

There doesn't seem to have been a comment recently so I thought I'd write one! It is SO good to see the entrance to your school looking clear and welcoming without cars parked there. Thank you for organising that, it makes driving past much safer.

France is a bit chilly at the moment but I think Suffolk is too. I look forward to seeing you all when I next visit England.

I love the photographs of the school plays. It was great fun to do and I especially liked dressing up!

What a lovely, well laid out news letter. I only came across it by virtue of Clare Bloomfield who, I am pleased to say, is enjoying the teaching experience gained at Elmsett very much and feels that she has been welcomed by both pupils and teaching staff. You see, Father Christmas does look far and wide to see just who is being nice or naughty, especially just before Christmas! Thank you all. Remember children, fast asleep when I call round to see you.

What a great idea this comments book is! I can't believe after all this time there are still names on here I recognise. I'm a Drama teacher now (no surprise there) and my little boy starts school in September, which is probably what got me thinking about primary schools. That and the fact that I know my Mum misses all of you still. I'll have to show her this site and how to leave a message of her own!

HI, Great to have a website to see and know what is going on, especially as I work and do not hear the playground chatter! I even sent the children to school when it was shut!! So I'm a regular to the site now to keep in touch with what is happening! Just one thing, is Whitsun one or two weeks? Wouldn't want to send them in again when they shouldn't be!! Thanks to Mr Marshall for settling my children in so well, great job..

Can I add my thanks to all the hard work Mrs Hooper puts into this sight, Thanks also to Robert Leek who came and talked to us about life in Italy.
We also had a great time at the BT follow up day at Endeavour House thanks to BT, Councillor J Pembroke and Councillor P O'Brien BT Crag Rats came to us last week and they were also brilliant with lots of drama about good communication skills

Thank you Mrs Hooper for all your hard work and for keeping the website up to date. We have had another very busy but exciting term. I can't believe it is nearly Easter. My auntie thinks the website is great because theres loads of brilliant work done by all the children.

I think Elmsett is an excellent scool and the children are very fortunate to attend it, I think the website is very interesting, the pupils at the school are made aware of the village and the environment.

I loved visiting the school in the summer and it was a well adapted school.The website is wonderful and fun to explore.Tomorrow is 5th grade(err...Maybe 4th year but not sure) computer day so I shall talk to the teachers about that since ours isn't until the afternoon.I hope you get a few more replies. I hope that the children DO log onto their website because this is a message for those who generously allowed us to use their sunlower pictures in Church for the Harvest Festival. ALL the pictures were much admired and they made a lovely show, no doubt you all saw them at your own Harvest service which I was truly sorry to miss. Thankyou so much for letting us borrow them.

I saw some of you walking to school this morning and thought you might like to have some good wishes for a successful and happy year ahead. Especially I think of the little ones just starting and the staff who have to help them to integrate. Good luck to you all. I so enjoyed the leavers service in July, what a truly good school our village has.

Nice to see the school looking so good. I attended Elmsett from 1974 to 1981, and have many good memories especially of Miss Lawrence (my first teacher) and Mr Leeds (the best Head a school ever had !). I now live in Derbyshire, but my folks still live in Elmsett so I pass by from time to time. It was an excellent school when I was a pupil, and I'm glad to see it still is.

Elmsett School has changed a lot since I left in 1987! Looking through the pictures of the new classrooms, I hardly recognized the place! It is nice to see that even though the buildings have changed, the spirit of Elmsett school has not. I have many fond memories. Mrs Leek, the next time that I come home you will have to give me a guided tour, if there is time!

We are using the Design, Make Appraise process to construct a pushcart(gocart) to be entered in a Technology challege. Great slippers that the students made. Hello, my name is Sarah Fewkes and I live in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA. I thought your website was really good. Your school sounds so different from the American schools. Here in my school we have at least 500 children in the building. Quite literally my school is a LOT bigger.
My grandma (Sallie Mountfield) lives in Elmsett and I am coming to visit this June. Chances are you may see me walking to the village shop or with a black dog.

Your website is fascinating. I was thrilled to find so much information about your visit to St. Peter's to see the "Ladbrook" bell. My comment about that visit would be how wonderful it was to see young people showing such an intelligent interest, and how well behaved everyone was.

I think the easter egg hunt was very good and James was 'ere.
