Hi year 6 (and other years) just wondering how things were getting on in school (obviosly!!!!) year 6 have no worries about high school it is so fun and you will all love it!. The 100 minute lessons are cool (for me science is the best one) hope the current year 6 do well in there S.A.Ts (i know it is a bit far from now but good luck anyway).

Bo hoo. I will really miss Elmsett now i am at high school. I will miss everyone. I would like to thank all the teachers for their help and support through my years at Elmsett. I really enjoyed Walton on the naze and Milden Hall. I have said this once but i will miss you all truely.

i just wantto say thanks to mrs long for organising the assult course! me and my friends really enjoy it!

i am so pleased that sats are over. Well done to all the year 6 for their hard work i think i would of payed off.
I look foward to all the trips and thing we have ahead espically the milden hall residental trip.

I'd just like to say a great big well done to all the yellow team for working so hard to win the team points trophy. It's a real achievement and you should all be proud of yourselves. Well done to all the other teams and especially to reds
who gave us some close competition!

i luv the school lots and I've had 7 years of experience and it has been great. I like all the pupils and the teachers and i will miss the whole school when i go to high school in 2 years.eek!

It has been a really busy term but we have had great fun. A very big thankyou to all the staff for all their hard work and enthusiasm, also to the governors for all their support.
Thank you also to all the parents and members of the community for all the help and support. A special thank you to all the children for making Elmsett school such a wonderful place to be.
It is really good to hear from "old" pupils. Thank you Harry for your good wishes.

This is my last year at Elmsett and I have loads of memories that I will take with me. All my teachers have been great but thanks to Mrs Burdiss helping me through Sats. Holliex

Wow, it's been 4 years since I've thought really hard about Elmsett Primary. There are a lot of new faces and it seems though that are some old ones too which is good to see. I wish all the best to the Year 6s on their S.A.Ts and hope they get great marks.

Thank you for inviting me on November 6th. The walk in the wood was lovely - wonderful leaf pictures - I especially liked the tree one. Fabulous bonfire and very tasty soup. The allotment looks very well tended now - the vegetables will be even better next year!

I can't wait untill the bonfire night! I hope that its a dark night-the lanterns will really glow!

Sadly I shall miss your harvest festival. I hope you have a memorable service and that you enjoy the beautifully decorated St. Peter's. One of the best things is the wonderful smell of "earthiness".
When I was in Hollow Trees I saw the pigs picture which your younger people had devised. It looked stunning and is in a very prominent position where everyone will see it.

I just want to say a BIG thank you to all the children and staff for the cards and presents I was given on my retirement. It was very kind of you all. I am going to miss you all like crazy but at least I will see most of you on Fridays for swimming. Thank you all, once again, and I wish you all good luck and success for the coming year.

We'd like to say hello to all of Garin's old peers from school. We've moved back to The Netherlands 4 years ago and it's great to be able to see how the Elmsett school has changed, but has managed to maintain the cosiness it used to have (by the look of the photos anyway).

Thank you to Mrs Costin and all the children in Owls for a delicious afternoon tea on Monday.

Very many thanks to the Badgers Class for their help with surveying the churchyard. Yesterday I saw a green woodpecker feeding on one of the anthills which we found so I can tick that box too. Perhaps jumping on the anthill disturbed the ants and enabled the woodpecker to locate it.

I was very sorry to miss the opening of your new allotment but when I returned home I went to view your work and was astounded by the progress. Well done all of you, it's going to be a super garden.

I'd like to say a REALLY big thankyou to all the children who have helped plant the seeds and repot the seedlings. We're going to have a super allottment and fingers crossed lots of plants to sell at the Summer Fair!

There doesn't seem to have been a comment recently so I thought I'd write one! It is SO good to see the entrance to your school looking clear and welcoming without cars parked there. Thank you for organising that, it makes driving past much safer.

Bonjour, Hello everyone, Ijust wanted to let you know that I think about you all and miss Elmsett, Of Course!
France is a bit chilly at the moment but I think Suffolk is too. I look forward to seeing you all when I next visit England.

I love the photographs of the school plays. It was great fun to do and I especially liked dressing up!

What a lovely, well laid out news letter. I only came across it by virtue of Clare Bloomfield who, I am pleased to say, is enjoying the teaching experience gained at Elmsett very much and feels that she has been welcomed by both pupils and teaching staff. You see, Father Christmas does look far and wide to see just who is being nice or naughty, especially just before Christmas! Thank you all. Remember children, fast asleep when I call round to see you.

What a great idea this comments book is! I can't believe after all this time there are still names on here I recognise. I'm a Drama teacher now (no surprise there) and my little boy starts school in September, which is probably what got me thinking about primary schools. Hello to Mrs Irwin, Mrs Hazell, Mrs Kempson, Mr Marshall and all children in Otters (previously class 3) and those who moved up from class 3 last September. I have lost the contact email addresses you sent me and have just remembered I could contact you through here. I am still waiting for you all to come and visit! I loved helping out for almost a year and miss you all. Great website!

HI, Great to have a website to see and know what is going on, especially as I work and do not hear the playground chatter! I even sent the children to school when it was shut!! So I'm a regular to the site now to keep in touch with what is happening! Just one thing, is Whitsun one or two weeks? Wouldn't want to send them in again when they shouldn't be!! Thanks to Mr Marshall for settling my children in so well, great job..

Can I add my thanks to all the hard work Mrs Hooper puts into this sight, Thanks also to Robert Leek who came and talked to us about life in Italy.
We also had a great time at the BT follow up day at Endeavour House thanks to BT, Councillor J Pembroke and Councillor P O'Brien BT Crag Rats came to us last week and they were also brilliant with lots of drama about good communication skills

Thank you Mrs Hooper for all your hard work and for keeping the website up to date. We have had another very busy but exciting term. I can't believe it is nearly Easter. I really enjoy the elmsett school. I have made loads of friends and they are wonderful.

My auntie thinks the website is great because theres loads of brilliant work done by all the children.

I think Elmsett is an excellent scool and the children are very fortunate to attend it, I think the website is very interesting, the pupils at the school are made aware of the village and the environment.
